Advanced Engineering Applications

Have you wanted the opportunity to learn to design, build, program and compete nationally in mobile robotics?  A class where you learn about CNC manufacturing and automation technology by designing and making things using modern manufacturing technologies and about digital technology by designing, building, and testing your own digital circuits? This program utilizes hands-on application of knowledge and activities to build those skills sought after by college engineering programs and employers.

During this yearlong course, students work through problems that engage and challenge.  Students explore a broad range of engineering topics that include mechanisms, the strength of structures and materials, and automation.  Students develop skills in problem solving, research, and design while learning strategies for design process documentation, collaboration, and presentation.

Become a member of a highly successful SkillsUSA competitive team.
