As we have throughout this global COVID-19 pandemic, CVSD will continue to follow all Department of Health and Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction requirements and legal mandates outlined by the Governor and Labor and Industries.
We want to ensure our families that we will start school with full-time in-person instruction at all of our PreK-12 schools in the safest manner for our students and staff following COVID-19 safety protocols. We will also continue to provide virtual learning through our Central Valley Virtual Learning for those families that fits best for learning. The Governor’s vaccination mandate does not include students and is limited to school employees and volunteers.
We value each of our employees as an important part of our CVSD team, and their health, safety and wellbeing are our priorities. As such, we encourage each employee to continue their employment with the Central Valley School District by complying with the Governor’s mandate through vaccination, medical, or religious exemption prior to the October 18, 2021 deadline. We will support all our employees as they choose the option that best suits their individual situation.
