Ghost Rider okay I'm Sydney my project is a metacognitive toolkit for students with ADHD attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is the most common Euro developmental disorder often characterized by symptoms of impulsivity inattention hyperactivity and executive this are around is pretty common right metacognition understanding of one morning process and learning challenges eternity with ring here's a little story time you're out my time in Summit school elementary school conferences she wanders around she blurts out so that's what the kids are you know I get to high school fast forward and having trouble with my homework later to do it and finally realizing not everybody stays up till like 12 a.m. and finished I realized something my friend like this make you don't have challenges like this I know my parents and I said you know I think I had my head I found this article online I have an appointment with the specialist and getting this diagnosis help me understand so imagine going 16 years and not understanding a huge proponent of your life validating license good next up was figuring out how to School challenges I started exploring my options like a 504 plan to get learning accommodations to help with projects assignment extension permission my doctor was awesome enough to send out a letter that talks about, combination so 11% of children are diagnosed with ADHD and only half of us only half of those children I can't imagine going to school struggling with organization planning leading homework not getting any home High School Sisters of Mercy and some of them don't even know they exist so my solution a metacognitive toolkit for ADHD students in my tool kit I have strategies that help ADHD students face their common struggle like note-taking planning and whatnot in overall people understand that learning process for going back to metacognition understand not getting fuel you also get independence in addressing your needs as all of my suggest all my charges are just suggestions get so worried about your challenges work with them try things you might want to try my process started off of this Earth your coat and said that more people struggles as everybody has different struggles 504 Chicago Road actually look like.
